Winegard AP 8275 Chromstar 2000 Series Pre Amplifier
Winegard AP 8275 Chromstar 2000 Series Pre Amplifier
Winegard AP 8275 Chromstar 2000 Series Pre Amplifier is used on your antenna to increase the signal to noise ratio. Clears the snow out of those distant TV stations. Generally the higher the gain the better the results but sometimes if there is a strong local station you may want a lower gain preamp or one that just amplifies UHF and passes the VHF. This pre-amplifier features 75 ohm input for convenience and easier installation. Universal housing can be used with any off-air TV antenna. Made of high impact ABS material, mast mounted for easy installation. Selectable FM trap reduces FM signals (88-108 MHz) -15 dB to prevent overload, also the tunable FM trap reduces a 3 MHz band width by -12 dB. Flexible polyethylene hinged cover on 300 ohm models keep connections clean, dry, weather-protected.
