Although the vast majority of high definition programming isbroadcast on UHF bands, approximately 9% of the total digital TV stations in the United States utilize the VHF band. To provide solutions for consumers in these markets, we have developed a number of VHF antennas. It is important to note that most UHF antennas will pick up high VHF stations (channels 7-13) so a VHF antenna tends to bemore important for those trying to reach low band (channels 2-6) stations.

This low band VHF antenna is designed to pick up low band VHF signals on channels 2-6. It is ideal for locations within 55 miles of the transmitters. Its extremely wide elements are designed specifically to receive the long signals associated with these channels. It is a uni-directional antenna so it must be pointed towards the transmitters to achieve optimum performance.
